Canada | How do I resolve the ROE error: "Pay Period Ending Date must be equal to the Final Pay Period Ending Date"
The "Pay Period Ending Date in Pay Period 1 must be equal to the Final Pay Period Ending Date provided in block 12" error message relates to the Pay Period End Date and the Final Pay Period Date not corresponding.
Navigate > Interface Portal > Government Hub > Submitted Events > View Status > Messages
Record of Employment:
Navigate > Reports > Reports > NextGen > Legislative > Record of Employment
The Record of Employment will need to be corrected by updating the "Final Pay Period Ending Date" to correspond with the Pay Period Ending Date. If the "Last Day For Which Paid" is later than the Pay Period Ending Date, it will also need to be updated to correspond with the Pay Period Ending Date.

Please note that the Final Pay Period Ending Date must be later than or equal to the Last Day For Which Paid. It must also be the end date of the final pay period that includes the date entered as the Last Day For Which Paid.
