Canada | How do I resolve the ROE error: "Insurable Hours in pay period must be from 0.01 to 9.9999.99 inclusively"
This error relates to the Insurable Hours linked to the relevant Pay Period being zero. This is due to Services Canada not accepting an Insurable Earnings entry with an Insurable Hours value of zero.
Navigate > Interface Portal > Government Hub > Submitted Events > View Status > Messages
Record of Employment:
Navigate > Reports > Reports > NextGen > Legislative > Record of Employment
This can be corrected via a 0.01 adjustment as per
the below.
Navigate > Employee Record > Payroll Processing > Record of Employment Adjustments > navigate to the relevant record and select theicon > process the 0.01 adjustments > Save
Once the correction is made, navigate to the Record of
Employment and select save, this is to refresh the ROE to implement the
adjustments made.
Navigate > Employee Record > Payroll Processing > Record of Employment > Edit > Save
Once updated, the new ROE will reflect the adjustments and a resubmission can be processed.
