Canada | How do I resolve the ROE error: "Column 'FromParent_OM_SpecialPaymentSection' does not belong to table OM"

This error is typically caused by a temporary inconsistency in the ROE submission file, rather than an issue with the underlying data. It does not necessarily indicate that there is a problem with the employee's record or the information entered.

Navigate > Interface Portal > Government Hub > Submitted Events > View Status > Messages

The recommended steps to resolve this error are:

Step 1: Archive the failed submission
Locate the ROE submission that triggered the error and archive it by selecting the orange folder icon.
      
This removes it from the Submitted Events list and moves it to the Archived Events screen without permanently deleting any data.

Step 2: Reprocess and submit the ROE
Once archived, create or resubmit the ROE again from the Create Event screen. The new submission file will be generated, which typically resolves the column mapping issue.


Step 3: Confirm successful submission
After reprocessing the ROE submission, verify that the ROE has been submitted successfully and that no further errors appear.
