How do I setup a workflow path according to a security role?
This feature is available on the Master payroll edition.Make use of the following steps to configure a workflow path according to a security role.
Step 1: Create the security role for which you want to set up the workflow path.

Navigate > Config > Security > Security > Security Roles
Step 2: Configure the workflow.
Navigate > Config > Basic Settings > Company Settings > Workflow Configuration
Important Notes
- All employees linked to the specific security role will follow the workflow path set up for the Security role, if a company level user is attached to a security role and is also an ESS user a different workflow path will need to be set up for the user as his leave application will not follow the workflow path for the ESS security role, as they are linked to a different security role.
- If the next approver is not linked to a security role (as in the above screenshot), they can be linked to a workflow role and the workflow configuration can be adjusted accordingly.
