Why am I unable to add a new position to an employee?

This applies to all Deel Local Payroll powered by payspace editions

If a new position is created on company level with a future-dated effective date, it cannot be assigned to an employee with an effective date earlier than the future date.

Navigate > Config > Human Resources > Organisation Structure > Position Management
