How do I resolve the error "Effective date must be unique to each position" when adding employee positions via the Bulk Actions screen?

This feature is available on all PaySpace editions

The below error will appear when adding a new employee position record with the same effective date as a previous position record.


To avoid this error:

Navigate > Bulk Actions
      

Step 1: Check the effective dates of the employee's previous positions by clicking the eye icon on the Bulk Actions grid.



Step 2: Download a blank template and make sure the new employee position record you are adding has a unique effective date.

Step 3: Select the file and click on the "Upload" button to upload the Bulk Actions template.
