What is the difference between the claims and leave application cut-off date and the pay date on the Run Management screen?

The claims and leave application cut-off date applies to companies using workflow paths for claims and leave. The user must specify the cut-off date for each pay run on the Run Management screen.
- If the next pay period is in a future status, employees will be unable to submit a claim or leave application after the cut-off date.
- If the pay run is open, the claim will be automatically assigned to that pay period.
- If the user does not specify a cut-off date, employees will be able to submit claims up until the pay date specified on the Run Management screen.

The pay date is the
date the pay run will close. All scheduled reports and payslips will be sent
out on this date.
