What are the requirements for accessing the DLP system?

Alert
This feature is available on all Deel Local Payroll powered by payspace payroll editions

The DLP system is a fully cloud-native, browser-based payroll and HR platform—there’s no desktop installation required, and the system requirements are minimal:

Mandatory Hardware & Software

A modern browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari on any internet‑connected device (desktop, laptop, tablet, even mobile) No local servers or on-premises software. Everything is hosted securely in Microsoft Azure South Africa.
Device specs should be basic: 4 GB RAM or more, with CPU and storage that comfortably run a current OS and browser.

Internet / Network Requirements:

1. Internet Speed

A stable broadband connection is key.
For small businesses, aim for 50 Mbps download/upload, which covers payroll, reporting, and occasional file transfers.
Larger teams using video calls or APIs should target 100 Mbps+.

2. Stability and Latency

Cloud apps are sensitive to interruptions—choose a business-grade fibre line with a good SLA and low packet loss
Aim for latency under 70 ms to avoid sluggish performance.

3. Reliability > Raw Speed

A consistent, low-latency connection is more important than peak bandwidth—QoS settings and wired Ethernet can help achieve this.
