If a company has a leave setup given to employees upfront and accumulative, will the leave accrue for each cycle?
This applies to all PaySpace editions.
If a company has a leave setup as upfront and accumulative, the leave accrual will only appear in the first cycle.
The forfeiture fields define when an old cycle will end and when a new cycle will start. Without the forfeiture being defined, the calculation cannot determine when to issue out the next set of days.
When the setup is changed to Non-Accumulative, the system can then use the date defined (Group Join Date / Effective Date that the employee is linked to this scheme / This month every year / Employment Date) to identify when the accrual should be triggered.
