Canada | How do I setup a custom field for alternate employee numbers?
Custom fields can be added to the employee Basic Profile screen to allow the capturing of custom/alternate employee numbers.
Navigate > Config > Basic Settings > Custom Screens & Fields > Custom Fields
To link the custom field to the employee's Basic Profile, select the appropriate field types as Screen Type: Employee and Action Type: Basic Profile.
Click the + icon and select Text as the input type for a text field.
Complete the field details using the naming and code outlined below, as these are the required naming conventions.
Once saved, the custom field will appear on the employee's Basic Profile screen.
