Canada | How do I process Unpaid Time on the payslip?

Unpaid time refers to any hours or days an employee does not work and is not compensated for. See the below steps on how to configure and process the Unpaid Time component.

Step 1: Create the Unpaid Time component on company level.
Navigate > Config > Payroll > Payroll Config > Payroll Components



Rename (optional) and select the "Income bases and formulas" to setup the component's income base on the "Define The Income" window.




Step 2: Process the Unpaid Time on the employee's payslip as a negative input.
  Navigate > Employee > Payroll Processing > Edit Payslip > Allowances
