Can an employee submit a leave application without a mandatory attachment?

No. The system has been designed to prompt an error when an employee attempts to submit an application which requires a mandatory attachment, before submission to an approver.

      Navigate > Employee > Leave > Application

      

When an attachment is required for a leave application, the employee applying for leave will receiving a message to advise them that attachments are mandatory. They will still be able to apply for leave as previously done, and the last approver in the workflow will get an error message and need to reject the leave. Only the message has been added to advise the employee of this rule.
