How does the "are attachments mandatory for leave applications" advanced option work?
This feature is available on all Deel Local Payroll powered by payspace editions
To ensure attachments are
attached to a leave application, ensure that the “are attachments mandatory for
leave applications” checkbox under advanced options on the applicable leave
scheme bucket is enabled.
Navigate > Config > Human Resources >
Leave Administration > Leave Scheme Parameters > advanced options
Selecting this checkbox will
activate three additional (and optional) fields:
- “force attachment after the second application with an 8 week cycle”
- “do not force attachment after/before public holidays or weekends?” (users will be able to specify whether an attachment should be mandatory or not if the leave was taken before or after a public holiday or weekend).
“after how many days” (Users can enter a numerical value in the textbox to specify the number of leave days required for an attachment to become mandatory, if applicable.)

Note
The fields for option 2 and 3 specified above will only populate once option 1 is activated.
