How can leave applications be processed without attachments when they were made mandatory for the leave type applied?
This applies to all PaySpace editions.
Leave scheme parameters can be configured so that attachments are mandatory when employees submit an application accordingly.
Navigate > Configuration > Human Resources > Leave Administration > Leave Scheme Parameters > advanced options
Additionally, it is possible to "skip leave validations" when a leave application is processed on company level. This will allow the user to process the leave application without having to add an attachment, even though it has been specified as mandatory.
