Will a manager get a WhatsApp notification to approve leave?

This feature is available on the Premier and Master edition.

No. WhatsApp does not support the sending of a message to a user that has not initiated a conversation. Any messages from WhatsApp will only be in response of a request from the user.

If the manager is registered for ESS, they will still receive an email notification and can now action the request via WhatsApp.
