What happens when changes are made to the pay date of an existing pay frequency?

This feature is available on all Deel Local Payroll powered by payspace payroll edition

Previously, when the pay date was changed for an existing pay frequency, those changes only applied to runs in the next generated tax year. This meant that any upcoming runs within the current tax year remained unaffected by the update, which could lead to inconsistencies or additional manual adjustments.

Now, when changes are made to the Payday or If payday falls on a weekend or public holiday fields, they will automatically be applied to the next future runs going forward.

      Navigate > Config > Payroll > Payroll Config > Pay Frequencies > Frequency calendar

      

When either of the fields are modified, users will be shown the updated run paydays on the Run management preview screen (ed. the pay day is moved from the last day of the month to the 25th of each month).
