South Africa | Why is the UIF Declaration File showing as "Empty"?

When the
UIF Declaration File returns no information and shows “empty”, it could be due
to:
The UIF Exemption Reason: "Independent Contractor" selected on the Basic Profile screen.
Tax Statuses: "Independent Contractor", "Independent Contractor (No Tax)", "Common Law Independent Contractor", "Personal Service Company" and "Personal Service Trust" selected on the Tax Profile screen.
Employees’ Group Join Dates or Statutory Employment Date Overrides (SEDO) are greater than/after the period end date (month end) on the Tax Profile screen.
The UIF Reference Number not being correct on the Basic Company Information screen
