How do I set up leave according to grades?

This feature is available on the Premier and Master payroll edition.

Make use of the following steps to configure leave according to grades.

Step 1: Set up the grades.

      Navigate > Human Resources > Organisation Structure > Grades

      

Step 2: Edit or create the leave bucket accordingly.

      Navigate > Human Resources > Leave Administration > Leave Scheme Parameters

Enable the grade bands checkbox against the "apply leave entitlement according to this band type:" parameter.

      

Select how leave is given to an employee "upfront" or "per month" and select the "number of leave bands"  you want to create and select create.

      

Specify how leave is accrued per Leave Grade Band.

      

Complete the rest of the Leave Scheme Parameters screen and select "Save".

Note!
      The employee needs to be linked to the relevant grade on their Position screen and Leave Scheme for leave to accrue accordingly.
