How do I configure the system to enable employees to report to a manager that is in a different company within the group?
Should an employee report to a manager who is in a different company within the group, enable the "Enable this company's employees to be searched for from any company with the group" checkbox on the General Settings screen, as well as the "Enable employees to report to persons based ion other companies with the group" checkbox on the Org and Position Settings screen, so that the manager can be searched for in the Directly reports to person field on their Position screen:
Navigate > Configuration > Basic Settings > Company Settings > General Settings > Employee Settings
Navigate > Configuration > Human Resources > Organisation Structure > Org and Position Settings
Navigate > Employee > Basic Information > Position > Reporting Line
