Can employee rater information be added in Bulk?

This feature is available on the Premier and Master edition

Yes. The "Rater Setup" action type can be selected to effortlessly upload employee rater information as well as manage their process type and default template combinations.

Important

1. Rater Type Field

1. For each process type and default template, only one rater can be assigned for the Direct Report, Manager, and Self rater types.
2. When Self is selected as the Rater Type, the system automatically assigns the corresponding employee as their own rater. In this case, there is no need to populate the Rater Emp Number field in the Bulk Upload template.
3. For Peer and Other rater types, multiple rater records can be associated with the same employee.

2. Inherit Rater from Position Field

1. When Manager or Direct Report is selected as the Rater Type in the Bulk Upload template, this field determines whether the rater information should be pulled from the employee's position details.
2. If the Rater Type is Manager and Inherit Rater from Position is set to TRUE, the system will automatically assign the employee’s direct reports (from the position screen) as the raters. The Rater Emp Number does not need to be entered in the template.
3. If the Rater Type is Direct Report and Inherit Rater from Position is set to TRUE, the system will again assign the employee’s direct reports as raters without requiring manual entry of their employee numbers.
4. If Inherit Rater from Position is set to FALSE, users can manually specify the Rater Emp Number. This provides flexibility in cases where the rater differs from the one listed on the employee’s position screen.
