What is the function of the "View alternative component names" option on the Edit Payslip screen?

What is the function of the "View alternative component names" option on the Edit Payslip screen?

This feature is available on all PaySpace editions.

By selecting the "View alternative component names" option, the system will download the PDF payslip on which the alternative component names will be displayed as they were configured on company level.

This option will only display on the Edit Payslip screen if alternative component names have been specified on the General Ledger Parameters screen.

      Navigate > Employee Payroll Processing > Edit Payslip

      

      Navigate > Configuration > Payroll > Payroll Config > General Ledger Parameters

      

      

Note! The alternative component names defined will not be displayed on the General Ledger report.
