Tanzania: Workers Compensation Contribution Rate
The Workers Compensation (Payment of Tariff) (Amendment) Regulations, 2022 has made a change to the contribution rate for employers.
The Principal Regulations are amended in regulation 5(2) by deleting the words "zero point six per centum (0.6%)" and substituting for them the words "zero point five per centum (0.5%)".
Previously, employers in the private sector contributed 0.6% while employers in the public sector contributed 0.5%.
