Kenya – SHIF delayed until October 2024, NHIF to continue until then

The Government has postponed the planned move to the new Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF) to October 1st 2024, amid ongoing challenges with the new digital platform and supporting legislation. Kenya’s will continue to contribute to the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) until then.
