How is the medical aid tax credit calculated?

The medical tax credit on an employee's record is calculated according to the SARS Medical Aid Tax Credit Rates
An employee's Year to Date Medical Aid Rebate will display on the Tax Breakdown screen as follows.
Navigate > Employee > Payroll Processing > Edit Payslip Screen > Other Actions > Tax Breakdown
In order for the medical aid dependants to be included in the Medical Tax Credit calculation, they need to be marked as such on the Dependants screen.
Navigate > Employee > Basic Information > Dependants > + Dependant
