How does the "on behalf of" feature work?

An employee may want to give another employee permission to capture information on their behalf.

Step 1: Update the ESS security role by giving employees access to the "On Behalf Of" screen.

      Navigate > Configuration > Security > Security > Security Roles (ESS) > Add/Edit/View Permissions

      

      

If the ESS security role is not amended, company level users can provide access to the "On Behalf Of" screen to link the nominated employee to the other employee's record.

Step 2: Link the employee who is granted permission to capture on behalf of another employee on the "On Behalf Of" screen on ESS

      Navigate > Employee > Other > Act On My Behalf

      

Step 3: The nominated employee can act on behalf of the nominating employee via Team Access (double arrows on the tope left and corner of the Title Bar) on ESS. Access will be based on the MSS security role's permissions.

Note! 

       The nominated employee will only have permission to access the profile of the nominating employee - not their subordinates.
