How do I setup a Medical Aid scheme?

A variety of Medical Aid Schemes are available to choose from on the Medical Aid Setup screen. Select and configure the relevant scheme according to the company’s requirements.

      Navigate > Configuration > Payroll > Administer Payroll Funds > Medical Aid Setup

       

A list of created Medical Aid schemes will be reflected on the history grid at the bottom of the screen.

      

Important!
  1. If the required Medical Aid Scheme does not appear on the database, send the scheme's documents and reference number to support@payspace.com for further assistance.
  2. It is recommended that the effective year be set to 1950 in order to include the oldest employee in the company.
  3. Certain Medical Aid Scheme require a calculation to be defined.
                        
            
                  
  1. If the company contributes towards the Medical Aid scheme, ensure that the percentage is recorded on this screen.
