How do I configure the ETI Minimum Wage Rate Per Hour component?
This feature is available on all PaySpace editions
The ETI Minimum Wage Rate Per Hour component has to be setup on company level to indicate the minimum wage applicable to the employee as per the national minimum wage or a wage regulating measure. Capture the higher of the two.
Step 1: Edit and configure the ETI Minimum Wage Rate Per Hour component on company level.
Navigate > Config > Payroll > Payroll Config > Payroll Components > Notes
Specify the minimum wage. Line items may be added to accommodate different groups of employees.
Step 2: Once the ETI Minimum Wage Rate Per Hour component has been updated, all employees must be linked to their respective ETI Minimum Wage Rate per Hour indicators. This can be done individually on the employees' Recurring Payroll Components screen or collectively via the Bulk Actions screen.
Option 1 - The Recurring Payroll Components screen.
Navigate > Employee > Payroll Processing > Recurring Payroll Components > Notes
Option 2 - The Bulk Actions screen
Navigate > Bulk Actions
Important
If this component is not configured on company and employee level, the system cannot initiate the ETI calculation.
