How do I configure the ETI Minimum Wage Rate Per Hour component?

The Minimum Wage rate Per Hour component has to be to indicate the minimum wage applicable to the employee as per the national minimum wage or a wage regulating measure. Capture the higher of the two.

Important! If this component is not configured on company and employee levels, the system cannot initiate the ETI calculation in the background.

It a system generated component that will automatically appear under the Notes section on the Payroll Components screen. However, it requires further configuration on company level based on each customer’s specific wage regulatory measure. 

Step 1: Edit and configure the Minimum Wage rate Per Hour component on company level.

      Navigate > Configuration > Payroll > Payroll Config > Payroll Components > Notes

      

      

Specify the minimum wage. Line items may be added to accommodate different groups of employees.

      

Step 2: Once the ETI Minimum Wage Rate per Hour component has been updated, all employees must be linked to their respective ETI Minimum Wage Rate per Hour indicators. This can be done individually on the employees' Recurring Payroll Components screen or collectively via the Bulk Actions screen.
