Custom Forms | Company Repository

This feature is only applicable to the Master payroll edition.

The system has been enhanced with a new custom form type named Company Repository.

It is available on the Custom Form Configuration screen. This custom form type enables user to compile a list of attributes to store extra information directly on company level screens that can be linked to employees through a Company Repository Reference Custom Field type.

Make use of the following example as a guide to create a Company Repository.

A company needs to store additional training institution information for employee training. A Company Repository form must be created where details can be stored per institution with its associated form group and relevant fields before it can be linked to employees.

Step 1:  Create a category for Company Repository on the Categories tab

Navigate > Configuration > Basic Settings > Custom Screens & Fields > Custom Form Configuration > Categories

By default, the company-level radio button will be selected and greyed out since the Company Repository Form is a company level form.

Step 2: Create an associated group name on the Groups tab.

Navigate > Configuration > Basic Settings > Custom Screens & Fields > Custom Form Configuration > Groups

Step 3: Create the fields on the Fields tab to complete the Company Repository Form configuration.

Navigate > Configuration > Basic Settings > Custom Screens & Fields > Custom Form Configuration > Fields

Step 4: Once the form is created it will be displayed on a tab with the Category name (refer to Step 1) on the Basic Company Information screen with configured fields.

Navigate > Configuration > Basic Settings > Company Settings > Basic Company Information

Step 5: Users will then create a Company Repository Reference custom field to link employees to the attributes defined in the form.

Navigate > Configuration > Basic Settings > Custom Screens & Fields > Custom Fields > Fields

Step 6: Employees can be linked to the information stored in the Company Repository custom form as per the custom field configured in Step 5.

Navigate > Employee > Skills > Training Records > Additional
