Configuration | Creating organizational hierarchical levels

Overview

The first step in creating an Advanced Organizational Structure is to define the number of levels present in the organization's hierarchy. The levels are created and defined in the Organization Hierarchy Levels screen.

Edition

This feature is available in the Premier and Master editions.

Navigate > Configuration > Human Resources > Organization Structure > Organization Hierarchy Levels

Example
In this example, levels were created for Company, Department, and Cost Center.

Important!

Clients using the Lite edition, as well as those who have not activated the setting for a more complex hierarchy structure, will only be able to have a maximum of two organizational hierarchy levels. For newly created companies, the system will automatically set two organizational hierarchy levels on this screen, and descriptions can be modified.
