Can the leave rules be bypassed when submitting leave applications?
This feature is available on all PaySpace editions.
Two checkboxes can be activated on the employee's Leave Application screen to bypass the leave rules.
Navigate > Employee > Leave > Application
- Skip leave balance validations – this will skip all leave rules assigned to the specific leave type, i.e. allow leave balance to go into a negative
- Bypass Workflow – this will approve the application immediately and not send it on to an approver.
Important!
These checkboxes are only available when Company level/Business Partner users create leave applications on an employee's behalf.
