Suspending an Employee

About

When an employee goes on maternity leave or needs to take a leave of absence, you can suspend the employee.  Suspensions are processed on the Suspension Screen.

This feature is available on all PaySpace editions.

Navigate > On/Off Boarding > Suspension


Ensure that the correct employee is selected.

Suspending an Employee

Select + Suspension to start the action of adding a suspension record.


Once you have selected to add a suspension complete the fields on the suspension screen and select to save.

Important Comments

Tips
  1. Once the suspension has been saved, the system will automatically calculate the employee’s pay based on the details specified.
  2. Should the employee be suspended in the middle of the month, the system will prorate the income considering the percentage specified.
  3. You will be able to download the UI-19 form the Suspension Screen.
The Employee Suspension Report
To extract a listing of all suspended employees as of a specified date, print the Employee Suspension Report

Navigate > Reports > Reports > Standard Classic > Category Heading: HR
