Zimbabwe | How do I prevent ZMDL from calculating?
To prevent ZMDL from calculating, enable the following ticks on company and employee levels.
On Company level -
Navigate > Configuration > Basic Settings > Company Settings > Basic Company Information > Statutory Fields
On Employee level -
Navigate > Employee > Basic Information > Basic Profile > Employee Details > Statutory Fields: Exemptions and Other
When the checkbox is ticked, the "ZMDL" company contribution and "ZMDL Income" component will be exempt from
calculating on the payslip.
The ZMDL note component is still available for use,
however customers are advised to switch the "ZMDL Exemption" tick going
forward.
