Why is the system preventing me from deleting components on the Edit Payslip screen?
This applies to all PaySpace editions.
If the system prevents you from deleting a component from the Edit Payslip screen, it means that the component was added to the screen via the Bulk Actions screen.
Important! Any actions processed via the Bulk Actions screen override payslip actions. Therefore, if a component was inserted on the payslip via a bulk upload, it can only be edited/removed in the same way.
Navigate > Employee > Payroll Processing > Edit Payslip > Allowances
Filter the Bulk Actions grid using the affected employee number, allocate the component to be deleted, select the "delete" icon on the right, and "save" icon on the right corner of the grid.
