Why is the position not available on the Employee Position screen when it was added at the company level?
A position created in the Position Management screen will not be reflected in an employee's Position screen if its effective date is later than the employee's position effective date, it must be set before the Employee Effective Date.
To avoid this, it is recommended that a Position's effective date be retroactive to 1950 at the company level.
Navigate > Setup > Human Resources > Organizational Structure > Position Management
