Why doesn't the leave balance increase after a leave payout has been cancelled?

This applies to all PaySpace editions.

The system does not regard editing the Leave Pay component's value to zero as a cancellation and will therefore not adjust the leave balance accordingly. The component has to be deleted in order to increase the leave balance.

      Navigate > Employee > Leave > Balances
