The PDF Payslip

Once the payroll has been processed and reconciled, payslips should be distributed to employees. This article clarifies the features & configurations of the PDF Payslip.

Add a Company Logo

By default, the payroll's logo will reflect in the top right corner of the PDF payslip.  A company's logo can be uploaded on the "Company Themes" tab on the Basic Company Information screen to display in the top left corner of the PDF payslip.

Hiding and displaying Payslip Items

A number of payslip items can be hidden on the header of the pdf payslip on the Hide/Show Payslip Items screens.

      Navigate > Configuration > Payroll > Payslip > Hide/Show Payslip Items

To hide a payslip item select the option to hide the item by selecting the tick box next to the item.

Important! 
      Remember that certain legislation required specific information to be displayed the PDF payslip.

Add a message to all payslips

A general/global payslip message can be defined on the Payslip Message screen.

      Navigate > Configuration > Payroll > Payslip > Payslip Message

      

Add a message to an individual payslip

Should a payslip message need to be sent to a specific employee, add the message in the comment box at the bottom of the Edit Payslip screen.

      Navigate > Employee > Payroll Processing > Edit Payslip > Comments
