The Basic Company Information screen
The Basic Company Information screen stores the company’s biographical information and consists of the following six tabs:
- Company Details
- Statutory Fields
- Company Address
- Company Themes
- General Details
- Contact Details
The six tabs can be accessed by selecting the relevant tab directly.
Navigate > Configuration > Basic Settings > Company Settings > Basic Company Information
An extract of the Company Details tab
This tab is home to the following fields:
- Company Group Name
- Company Name
- Company Trading Name
- Company Registration Number
- Tax Authority
- Company Code
- VAT Number
- Financial Year End Month
An extract of the Statutory Fields tab
The following legislative fields can be completed on
this tab, along with a few other settings:
- PAYE Reference Number
- Bargaining Council
- SARS contact person last name
- SARS contact person first name
- Diplomatic indemnity
- Employment Equity reference number
- Employer Stats SA number
- COIDA reference number
- Latest UIF file number
- UIF contact person
- UIF ID number
- UIF telephone number
- UIF email address
- Does not qualify for Employment Tax Incentive
- Company SDL exemption reason
- CSETA
An extract of the Company Address tab
A company’s physical and postal addresses can be recorded on this tab.
An extract of the Company Themes tab
A company’s PaySpace application can be tailored to its branded colours. This tab also allows users to upload their company logo and background which will appear on payslips and the login screen respectively.
An extract of the General Details tab
There are various settings to be found on this tab – users can configure the automatic generation of employee numbers and ensure that payslips will be emailed to all employees. Company level users can view the payroll edition they’re on, if they’re linked to a Business Partner, among other settings.
An extract of the Contact Details tab
This tab stores the particulars of the company contact person (i.e. the individual doing the payroll or the person who oversees the operations of the company).
Note! This feature is available on all PaySpace editions.
