South Africa: What is the 'Statutory Employment Date Override' field used for on the Tax Profile screen?

This feature is available on all PaySpace editions.

This field can be used when the default "Group Join Date" is not the required "Employment Start Date" for UIF purposes (e.g. for the UIF Declaration File). If the statutory employment date override custom field on the Tax Profile screen is captured, then this date will be returned and the Group Join Date will be ignored.

      Navigate > Employee > Basic Information > Tax Profile > Statutory Fields
