South Africa | UI-19 ID Number Field Blank

This feature is available on all Deel Local Payroll powered by payspace payroll editions

In order for an employee to claim UIF benefits, they must have a South African issued 13-digit barcoded Identity Number. Navigate to the employee's Tax Profile screen to insert the employee's ID or Work Permit ID Number. Without this data, the ID Number Field (Column C) of the UI-19 Report will be blank.

      Navigate > Employee > Basic Information > Tax Profile

      

      

Note

Other information such as a Passport Number will not be considered for the UI-19 Report.
