South Africa - SARS e@syFile Software Update for 2024/2025 Interim EMP501 Submissions

SARS has released the new e@syFile software for the 2024/2025 Interim EMP501 Submissions, which are open from 16 September to 31 October 2024.

Transition to the New Rebranded e@syFile Platform

SARS is currently transitioning to a new, rebranded e@syFile platform. During this submission period, both the old and new rebranded platforms will be available. However, starting from the 2024/2025 February submissions and onward, only the new rebranded e@syFile platform will be used.

Important: If you choose to use the new rebranded e@syFile platform for this submission, it's recommended to keep the old version installed for backup and historical submission purposes.

What's New with the Rebranded e@syFile?
While the core functionality has been retained, the newly rebranded e@syFile introduces several enhancements:
  1. Improved Technology: Built on updated technology, the new e@syFile is designed to leverage modern hardware, offering better performance and an enhanced user experience.
  2. Simplified Navigation: The new look and feel provide easier navigation and a smoother data capture experience.
  3. Modular Updates: Say goodbye to full installations with every update. Modular updates now reduce download size and update time, making software maintenance quicker and more efficient.
  4. Quick Links: New quick links to related functions have been added, minimizing the need to navigate through multiple menus.
  5. Enhanced User Management: Improved user maintenance features allow you to easily add or remove users and restrict functionality as needed.
