Usually, the Budget Speech is presented on the last Wednesday of February each year.

However, if the Budget Speech date is too close to the 1st of March, it leaves very little time for system providers to implement the amendments that are effective from 1 March 2024.

In such cases, the Budget Speech is moved  to the second-to-last Wednesday in February.

 

The latest Parliamentary Programme Framework for 2024 has been issued and confirms that the Budget Speech 2024 will be presented on Wednesday, 21 February 2024.
