South Africa | 2025 Employment Equity Reporting – Key Changes and Compliance Overview
This document provides a comprehensive summary of the 2025 Employment Equity (EE) Regulations, which follow the commencement of the Employment Equity Amendment Act, 2022. It outlines the new compliance framework introduced by the Minister of Employment and Labour, including:
- The introduction of binding five-year sectoral numerical targets under section 15A of the Act;
- Revised definitions of a designated employer, effective from 1 January 2025;
