Senegal | How to exclude an employee from Accidents at Work Benefit
Within Senegal the employer bears a mandatory contribution towards the Accident at Work Benefit (Sécurité Sociale Employeur du Travel) and in instances the company contribution may be exempt if the employee receives only the base of the professional expenses, reimbursement of expenses and family allowances/benefits paid by the Social Security Fund.
The Sécurité Sociale Employeur du Travel Contributions can be exempted by navigating to.
Employee > Basic Information > Basic Profile > Statutory Fields.
Select the checkbox to exclude from Family Benefit and select update.
Once the change has been saved the Sécurité Sociale Employeur du Travel Company contribution component will no longer calculate for the employee record.
