After the payroll has been processed, you need to generate payslips. This article describes the various methods available.

Generating Payslips from the Reports Menu

If employees are not registered on Employee Self Service (ESS), payslips can be generated using the Payslip Report.

Navigate > Reports > Reports > Category Heading: Payroll > PaySlips

Sending E-mail Notifications of Available Payslip Automatically

The indicator to e-mail payslips automatically should be flagged on Company Level. This will only work, if the employee has an active e-mail address on the Employee Basic Profile Screen and is registered for Employee Self Service (ESS). When the run automatically closes, the system will automatically send an e-mail informing the employee that their payslip is available. The e-mail will contain a link directing the employee to their Employee Self Service (ESS) profile.

Sending E-mail Notifications of Available Payslip from the Reports Menu

If Employee Self Service (ESS) is used, the Payslip Report from the Reports Menu can also be used to e-mail payslip notifications to employees. The e-mail will contain a link that will direct the employee to their Employee Self Service (ESS) profile.

Navigate > Reports > Reports > Category Heading: Payroll > PaySlips


E-mailing Individual Payslips

Once a run has closed, the E-mail Payslip Link will become available to you from the Employee Payslip Screen. Selecting this link, the payslip will immediately be e-mailed in a zipped file to the address specified on the Employee Basic Profile Screen. The payslip will be password protected. If the employee is registered on ESS, the employee will be able to access the same functionality.
