On which cloud service provider is the PaySpace solution hosted?

This applies to all PaySpace editions.

Our services and data are hosted in Microsoft Azure facilities in South Africa.

PaySpace services are designed with disaster recovery in mind. We employ geo-replication to replicate our data in real-time to an Azure data center in Europe. We test our disaster recovery processes annually and maintain audit records of these tests. Azure ensures robust availability through extensive redundancy achieved via virtualization technology.

All of our services operate within our own Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) with network access control lists (ACLs) that prevent unauthorized access to our internal network. PaySpace utilizes Azure SQL Server with up-to-the-minute backups extending back seven days, and data is replicated in near real-time to our disaster recovery environment. We leverage Azure Security Center to enhance our security posture and track compliance, and we use Azure Defender for advanced protection of our Azure workloads.

We employ Azure Sentinel for intelligent security analytics and threat intelligence, providing a unified solution for alert detection, threat visibility, proactive hunting, and threat response. Additionally, we utilize a Web Application Firewall (WAF) to guard against common exploits and vulnerabilities.
