When an employee goes on maternity leave or needs to take a leave of absence, you can suspend the employee. Suspensions are processed on the Suspension Screen.

Navigation Path
Navigate > On/Off Boarding > Suspension
Ensure that the correct employee is selected.

Suspending an Employee
Select + to start the action of adding a suspension record.
Once you have selected to add a suspension, complete the fields on the screen and select to save.

Tips
- Once the suspension has been saved, the system will automatically calculate the employee’s pay based on the details specified.
- Should the employee be suspended in the middle of the month, the system will prorate the income considering the percentage specified.
- The Basic Pay on the payslip should not be edited before capturing a suspension record.
- You will be able to download the UI-19 form the Suspension Screen.
The Employee Suspension Report
To extract a listing of all suspended employees as of a specified date, print the Employee Suspension Report.
Navigate > Reports > Reports > Standard Classic > Category Heading: HR
