Malawi | Budget Speech 2025/2026
On 28 February 2025, Malawi’s Minister of Finance and
Economic Affairs, Simplex Chithyola Banda, delivered the 2025/2026 Budget
Speech in the National Assembly. The budget focuses on stabilizing the economy
in response to slow GDP growth, high inflation, and rising debt costs.
There are no proposed changes affecting payroll at this
stage.
Further communication will follow once the relevant law has
been promulgated.
