Ivory Coast | Couverture Maladie Universelle

The Couverture Maladie Universelle company contribution and employer contribution are contributed based in dependents as required by legislation. However, children who have reached the age of 21 are not subject to the contribution towards this health scheme.

Legislation:
Contributions due under the basic general scheme for universal health coverage for legitimate children, natural children, and adopted children who have not yet reached the age of twenty-one, as well as adults with disabilities, are the responsibility of their parents.

The system will not automatically adjust contributions when the child turns 21 based on their date of birth. The user will need to manually navigate to the dependents screen and uncheck this field to remove the contribution part of the child depredate who reached 21 year.

Once the above has been unchecked on an employee the Couverture Maladie Universelle will no longer calculate for the employee it has been unchecked on.
