How is the ETI Remuneration gross up amount calculated if the employees remuneration hours is less than 160 hours a month?

The ETI Remuneration amount and Remuneration Hours are grossed up to 160 hours if the employee's ETI Remuneration Hours are less than 160 hours. 

      Navigate > Employee > Payroll Processing > Edit Payslip > Notes

Check the number of hours calculated on the ETI Remuneration Hours component.

      

ETI is grossed up according to the below formula:
      
      ETI Remuneration = ETI Remuneration/ ETI Remuneration hours x 160 ETI hours 

Note! If the Grossed up ETI Remuneration value is more than R6500.00 for the month, ETI will not calculate for the employee.
