How does the system's response differ based on the cancellation of the leave application and its status?

This applies to all PaySpace editions.

The status of the leave application will affect the system differently if it is cancelled:
  1. If leave is approved and is cancelled, the approver/s will receive a notification, and the days will be returned to an employee.
  2. However, if the leave is future-dated, the transaction will be removed from the history grid.
  3. If leave was applied for but not approved/rejected, no leave would have been deducted and no action is required from an approver.
  4. If a committed leave transaction is deleted, it will be deleted from the history grid. If the leave has been taken, the days will not be returned to an employee.
